38 Weeks Pregnant
38 weeks this week - full term! Baby E can come any day now. I scheduled my induction, just in case, for two days after my due date. No one thinks I'll make it that long though, and I hope we're all right! I've heard induction isn't usually pleasant.
I feel so much better with this pregnancy. I'm pretty sure it's because of the difference in how I'm carrying. With M, she was more vertical, so I think she was against my nerves, blood vessels, and organs a lot more. E is definitely more "out" which keeps a lot of pressure off of my body. It has resulted in my first stretch marks, though :(. But, that's just par for the course.
So considering that, I really don't want to be induced so close to my due date. But the next option was the following week - either at a different hospital with a doctor I've never met, or at my hospital with a doctor who helps cover the schedule - and who I've never met. So two days after my due date it is. Hopefully I won't have to worry about that though. My husband Joey thinks I'll have the baby on Monday, six days early. We'll see soon enough if he's right!
M was born right on time. I was going to be scheduling my induction after that weekend had passed, but at 12:30am on her due date, I went into labor! I still think it's pretty neat that it happened that way.
In any case, this time next month I will for sure have had the baby one way or another. :) <3
