38 Weeks Pregnant

38 weeks this week - full term! Baby E can come any day now. I scheduled my induction, just in case, for two days after my due date. No one thinks I'll make it that long though, and I hope we're all right! I've heard induction isn't usually pleasant.

Getting it Done

It seems like I've been sleeping a little bit better lately. I'm not sure if it's because I've been napping or what, but whatever the reason, I'm so glad I have a little more energy in the daytime. I'm 36 weeks pregnant this week, but I've been getting stuff done.

Autumn Changes

The weather has finally cooled off a bit! It's just a "cold" front, so it won't be permanent, but it's nice to enjoy while it's here. I'm 36 weeks along today, so not much longer of a wait for E! I'm almost positive he dropped sometime last night. So exciting!

Preparing for Baby E

M seems to be doing well with the idea of having a baby brother. I know she has no clue what to really expect, but I like to think she's as well prepared as we can make her. We got E's bouncer seat about a week ago, and she immediately wanted to put a baby doll in it. So of course we let her, and she was singing "Rock-a-Bye Baby" and playing "This Little Piggy" with it while it was there. It was the sweetest thing! We've gotten almost everything ready for E.

Sleep & Potty Training

M is getting to be such a big girl. We are practicing both sleep independence and potty training with her. As I type, she is laying quietly in her bed falling asleep for a nap while I sit on the couch in the living room. She has never been much of a sleeper. For her first 6 months or so, she would only catnap (sleep for 15-20 minutes) throughout the day.

First Post/Intro

Updated at end 3-5-18 Hello! My name is Christi Lee. My husband is Joey, and I'm a stay-at-home mom to a beautiful, intelligent, two year old girl (M), with a baby boy on the way (E)! He's due November 20 - it's hard to believe that's exactly ONE MONTH AWAY from today. Holy moly, we're going to be parents of TWO before we know it! Soon I'll be referring to "my kids" instead of "my daughter." Just one of many changes surely to come along. So a little about us...
